Monday
The winds strengthen up through the course of the day across western areas up into the Irish Sea with a developing area of low pressure across north west Ireland. Much of Britain will have a dry morning with lots of sunshine across central, southern and eastern parts of England. Outbreaks of moderate to heavy rain spills in across Northern Ireland in the afternoon and it tends to turn cloudier across much of Britain with East Anglia and the south east staying sunniest. Expect maximums of 13 to 18 Celsius in the north and 19 to 22 Celsius in the south.

Monday Night
In the evening showers heavy rain spreads from Northern Ireland into western parts of Scotland and perhaps Cumbria. England and Wales will remain fair and dry. Overnight it looks quite wet and windy with heavy rain for eastern parts of Northern Ireland, Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland. Showers may also affect the Midlands. Dry across the south albeit cloudy. Expect minimum temperatures of 11 to 15 Celsius.

Tuesday
A windy day across northern Scotland and feeling chilly with the winds from the east. Very wet morning across Britain with outbreaks of heavy rain. It remains unsettled into the afternoon with heavy showers and longer spells of heavy rain. A mainly dry evening and night for Northern Ireland. England, Scotland and Wales will see further spells of moderate to heavy rain. Expect highs of tops of 14 to 21 Celsius.

Wednesday
Outbreaks of rain will clear from Scotland and north west England this morning but staying cloudy through the day. Most of England and Wales will have more rain through the day and will be heavy in places. Inn the evening and night the rain becomes confined to Wales, south west England and near the channel coasts. We may also see rain returning to North Sea coasts. Strong north east winds develop overnight with gusts to 40 mph near North Sea coasts. Expect highs of 14 to 20 Celsius.
