Light winds

Good morning,

Slack pressure across the British Isles today, with light winds and fair weather for most of the country. A fresh northerly breeze continues for North Sea coasts.

Today's synoptic situation sees a ridge of high pressure lies to the south-west of Britain, whilst high pressure is over northern Scandinavia. Shallow low pressure is centred over Denmark. Low pressure also south of Greenland.

The remnants of a front lies across western regions, producing a lot of cloud, and local spots of rain or a brief shower, but most places will stay dry all day. Some sunshine and broken cloud.

Top temperatures will be 10 to 14C, coolest on the east coast, warmest toward the south-west.

Have a great day!
Garry
