Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 20th April 2017 Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson
Generally mild
Good morning,
High pressure will be centred to the south-west of the British Isles, whilst a westerly flow affects northern areas. Much of the country will be dry, although rather cloudy.
Weak fronts draped across the country may thicken cloud enough to produce a little rain or drizzle, but amounts will be small.
The best of the sunshine is likely to be in the south & east, where it will feel pleasantly warm. Winds will be fairly light for all.
Today's top temperatures will be 13 to 15C for England & Wales, perhaps locally warmer to the east of high ground. Northern Ireland & western Scotland will be nearer 10 to 12C.
Have a great day. Garry
