Cool north & east, pleasantly warm south-west

Good morning,

High pressure is centred to the west and north-west of the British Isles today, bringing fair weather to most areas.

A weak cold front drifts south across southern Britain, producing a zone of cloud and a few spots of rain, whilst skies should brighten from the north. Northern Scotland sees a few showers spread from the north-west.

Sunshine in the morning for northern Britain will tend to cloud over inland, but western coasts should be sunny into the afternoon. Light to moderate north or north-westerly winds.

Today's top temperatures will range from 10 to 12C in the north and east, 13 or 14C in Wales & the Midlands, and up to 15 or 16C in the south-west.

A touch of frost is possible tonight in rural areas, coldest where skies stay clear in the north & west.

Have a great day.
Garry
