Cold east, milder west, murky and cloud in-between

Good morning,

Three main areas of weather affecting the UK as you head outside for the day. Firstly, dry weather is across East Anglia and southeast England. This is bringing some cool conditions with some bright or sunny spells. Staying rather chilly throughout the day here, although dry too.

Next is the remnants of a weak front which is bringing cloud and some spots of rain across parts of northeast England, the Pennines, Midlands, Wales, central southern and southwestern England. This should be breaking further during the day with areas such as the Midlands and southern England perhaps seeing some brightness.

Next in northwest England, Scotland and Ireland where it is mostly dry although rather cloudy. yes there will be some bright spells, the best in central areas of Scotland and northwest England. Western Scotland and western Ireland may see low cloud and drizzle. Much milder in these areas as well.
