Turning wetter in north later

Good morning,

Many places will stay dry for a good part of today, although there is some rain developing from the west, increasingly into evening.

Patchy drizzle across western areas in the morning, then showers are likely to break out for central England & Wales into the afternoon, although quite hit and miss. Into the evening, more persistent outbreaks of rain are expected to push north-east across northern England.

The south & south-east should stay dry all day. Occasional sun, but a lot of cloud overall. Winds fairly light.

A cold front advancing across Ireland brings a band of rain, which extends to western Scotland later.

Temperatures ranging from 15 to 18C in the north & west, up to 19 or 20C for the Midlands, and 22C in the south-east.

Have a great day.
Garry
