Cloudy and damp and becoming milder for all

Good morning,

A cool morning in eastern parts of England and Scotland, although temperatures will be rising quickly here. Milder weather ot the west is going to be spreading eastwards through all areas. It is going to be a cloudy and damp morning, with the most persistent rain in Ireland and western Scotland.
 

This afternoon is mild for all. Rather damp and murky with lots of hill fog. Most of the rain in Scotland and southwest England, patchier rain elsewhere. Brighter for Ireland with sunny spells and isolated showers.

Overnight rain is likely through England and Wales, but turning drier ot the north and west.
