Cloudy with outbreaks of drizzle edging east, but brighter weather arriving in the west

Good morning,

A cloudy morning across most of the UK. A weak front is bringing outbreaks of rain and drizzle extending from western Scotland into NW England and then through the Midlands, Wales and southern England. Drier to the east this morning, but then drizzle and patchy rain arriving here this afternoon.

Showers in the east and west of Ireland, but dry with some sunshine in-between. This afternoon sees the brightness arriving through Wales and southwest England as well as northwest England and becoming breezier here too.

Heavier showers and turning breezy in western Scotland and the northwest of Ireland. Heavy showers here, and these last throughout the night.
