Morning Call - May 02, 2017
A few showers
An easterly breeze

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 2nd May 2017
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Warmest in west

Good morning,

High pressure lies over the Norwegian Sea, whilst low pressure is over central Europe, resulting in an easterly flow across the British Isles today.

A few showers are possible for central and south-eastern Britain as a weak occluded front drifts westwards. Local heavy bursts in the south-east.

Best chance for sunshine will be in west & northern regions, particularly to the lee of high ground in the west. Elsewhere expect a lot of cloud.

Today's top temperatures will range from 11C on the east coast, to 14C in the Midlands & south, up to 18C in sheltered western locations.

Have a great day.
Garry
