Today
The very cold weather continues across eastern parts of Europe today with high temperatures below zero from Poland eastward into Russia. An area of heavy rain across eastern Spain moves into western France with showers across Portugal and western Spain, some heavy. Some light rain persists across Italy today. High pressure will give a good deal of dry weather to Europe. A dry day with sunny spells across Belgium, The Netherlands, eastern France, Germany into Poland. Snow is expected to fall across the Baltic States, Russia and the Ukraine. Some snow too across Turkey with western Turkey dry. Fine and dry across the Balkans and the Adriatic Region with a few showers across the eastern Mediterranean. It continues cold but dry across Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. Another windy day across western parts of Europe and across the western Mediterranean.



Tuesday
Not quite as cold today across the eastern half of Europe. Russia and the Ukraine though stays cold and wintry with heavy snow. Cold too across Turkey with snow flurries. Across the Balkans and the Adriatic Region it will again remain settled and dry with good sunny spells. An area of rain will affect western and central parts of France and this extends into Corsica and Sardinia with a number of heavy showers expected from just south of Italy eastward to Crete. Mainly fair and dry across Italy today. High pressure keeps the weather dry and sunny across Poland, The Baltic States, Belarus, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. The dry, sunny weather is also expected across Denmark, the Low Countries and up into Norway, Sweden and Finland. A better day across Spain with a fine, sunny day to come. Cloudier across Portugal with rain and showers. Quite windy across the central and eastern Mediterranean, down the Aegean Sea and across eastern Europe.
