Unsettled spain and Portugal, drier in the east


Thursday
Low pressure brings an unsettled day through Spain and Portugal. Periods of showers and rain, some of it heavy and most affecting northern and western parts of Iberia. Showers in the Balearics and some heavy rain affects northern Italy. Southern Italy and Greece should be fine with good spells of sunshine, and it stays fine across Turkey too.
A wet day for much of France with heavy periods of rain. Windy in the far north of France and the Low Countries too. Germany should be dry with further spells of sunshine. A few showers and more cloud in Poland but dry for many. Hungary and Austria will be showery with some more persistent rain in Switzerland.
Fair for Denmark and dry with good spells of sunshine. Finland will b dry with more spells of sunshine to come here as well as southern Sweden. Windy in Finland and northern Sweden with showers here. Cloud and rain across central and northern Norway and windy to. Drier to the south.


Friday
Another unsettled day over much of the coastal regions of Spain and Portugal. Inland areas tending to be drier with sunny spells. Rain through the Balearics, some of it heavy. Italy and Greece should both be dry with some decent spells of sunshine. Turkey remains dry too with more sunshine to come here.
Cloud and outbreaks of rain in western France, but drier to the east. Fair weather affects the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland, some decent spells of sunshine throughout the day. Fair for much of Austria and Hungary as wel as Switzerland.
A fine day in Denmark with good spells of sunshine. Fair for the Baltic States with some sunny spells to come here. Breezy in Finland with cloud and some patchy rain. Sunny spells and mostly dry in Sweden, with rain affecting the west of Norway.
