Friday With high pressure now dominating the country, most places will have a dry day with long sunny spells after some early morning mist patches clear. Some cloud may bubble up this could just about produce the odd light shower across North Wales and central parts of Scotland in the afternoon. Expect high temperatures of 20 to 25 Celsius.
Friday Night All parts of the country will have a fine, dry and pleasantly warm, evening to come with some late sunshine to end the day. This will be followed by a dry, mostly clear night, although one or two showers may affect western parts of Scotland. Expect minimum temperatures of 8 to 13 Celsius expected.
Saturday We can expect another dry day to come across much of the United Kingdom. Expect some good sunny spells although it will become windier and a bit more cloudy across Northern Ireland, Wales and southwest England. This may produce some scattered showers across southern parts of Wales and the West Country in the evening. Overnight we could see some rain into Northern Ireland and Wales with some heavy showers across southwest. More cloudy but dry across the rest of the country. Sunday A more unsettled day to come across the United Kingdom with much more the way of cloud today. We expect some rain for parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland throughout the day, while most of England and Wales will see showers developing, and in the afternoon some of these could turn out to be quite heavy with a slight risk of thunder. Perhaps East Anglia could escape with a dry day. Generally expect showers and some rain in many areas during the night. High temperatures today of 19 to 24 Celsius.
